Moonlit Seasons: A Personal Voyage in Haikus, Tankas, Poem-tales, and Other Little Items
Date Posted: 2010-01-30

From Marilou Diaz-Abaya:

"My love affair with the moon and the sea has been going on, forever it seems, so ardently and passionately that I am unable to contain it alone. For so long, I’ve been bursting to share it.

After doodling and dabbling about it in the form poetry and poem tales for six years (between feature film projects and teaching ), FINALLY, my book “MOONlit SEAsons” is out, digitally printed in a very limited first edition. Although it’s set mostly at sea - in the Philippines and in Japan - I hope it touches not only snorkelers and divers, but as many hearts as I can reach, all of us yearning for magical, healing experiences in nature and art.

The book (P650.00) can be purchased at our office: MARILOU DIAZ-ABAYA FILM INSTITUTE AND ARTS CENTER, 6th floor, Providence Bldg., 55 Annapolis St., Greenhills, QC; or call 7245678; 7228489; and 09064570072; 09285545615. You may also place your order by emailing mdafilm@gmail.com and we’ll deliver free-of-charge in Metro Manila, and for a minimal shipping cost for out-of-town deliveries.

Great Valentine’s gift!

Speaking of which, do come to our OPEN HOUSE VALENTINE’S EVENT: “HOW TO SHOOT LOVE SCENES” on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2010, at 2pm-6pm, in our campus at MIL FLORES CORNER THIRD AVENUE, BEVERLY HILLS SUBDIVISION, ANTIPOLO CITY. It’ll be a novelty date-outing for Valentine’s.

Check out our location at www.mdafilm.com . There’s lots of romantic sites and restos in the cool, hilly vicinity. ‘Hope to see you there!"
