The Marilou Diaz Abaya Film Institute and Arts Center will celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the multi-awarded film"Jose Rizal" Directed by Marilou Diaz-Abaya. The event commemorates the collaboration of the film industry's finest to come up with the magnum opus which made all of us proud to be a Filipino. First Released in 1998, garnering most awards at the 1998 Metro Manila Film Festival and several other noteworthy awards from film festivals abroad, Jose Rizal will be screened at the Main Studio of the MDAFI Campus in Antipolo.

The screening starts at 2pm which will be followed by screenings of selected short films by students and alumni of MDAFI. The featured short films are, "The Threshold" by Mik Red (Official Entry to the Hannover International Film Festival),"Day Dream" by Nick Olanka, "Bugaw" by Arah-Jell Badayos, "Memento" by Francis Concio, "Retokado" by Pablo Biglang-awa, "Mooncakes" by Dom Nuesa,"Pagtatapos" by Biboy Belarmino, and "Opo Ma'am" by Javier Abola (35mm).
