The Palanca award-winning play "Twenty Questions" by Juan Ekis (Christian Vallez) will conclude the May Arts Festival of the Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute and Arts Center on May 31, Saturday at 4pm. The event will be opened with an Asian Poetry Reading and the performance of the one-act play in Filipino performed by Frankie Pascua and Joel Parcon. Twenty Questions is a romantic comedy about a conservative guy and an aggressive girl trapped in a room overnight because of a long-running barkada tradition. After a couple of glasses of wine, and twenty questions, they discover more things about themselves and each other as they also unwittingly find out how it is to fall in love again.
The play has been circulating in the internet like wild fire since it won in 2003. The play will have its regular run starting this September under the production of ACASIA (Arts and Culture Asia).
